eating
It seems like everyone I know is on a diet. Even the really skinny people. Maybe there is something to all of this. I'm not sure what though.
since there's no one else around, we let our hair grow long and forget all we used to know. then our skin gets thicker from living out in the snow.

Wouldn't it sound smug in this diet-obsessed world if someone said, "I'm NOT on a diet. I'm totally happy with myself"? We're taught that you should NEVER be happy with yourself. That's how they sell the wrinkle cream, diet shakes, gym memberships, make-up, stomach-sucking pantyhose and the like. And that's where we're all going so wrong. What's so bad about looking in the mirror and genuinely being okay with what you see?

today i ate a frozen pizza, soup from eat-a-pita, bowl of cereal, baked lays, 3 cups of coffee, 2 cups of dr. pepper.
what am i eating tomorrow? i dunno but i hope the words chocolate ice cream are in there somewhere.
dieting to lose weight is stupid. dieting to be healthy is great. but more often than not, even in scientific writings, i see people automatically equate weight gain and loss with healthy and not-healthy. this really bothers me. especially when i was reading the lipton-sponsored data that states drinking coffee, fruit juice, and tea is healthier than drinking milk. first of all, tea doesn't make you fat, but fruit juice is pure sugar, and neither will keep your bones from breaking. second of all, any trainer will tell you calcium is essential to burn fat. blahh. sorry for ranting in your blog.
