they pay to kiss your feet

since there's no one else around, we let our hair grow long and forget all we used to know. then our skin gets thicker from living out in the snow.

sick of it.

today i am sick of this. this no job thing. this weather. the fact that i don't like any of my winter clothes but have no money to buy more. i'm also already sick of the jambalaya i made that is supposed to last all week.

i'm sick of the taper. i'm sick of being sore. i'm just well...sick of it all.

i hope the f'ing sun is shining tomorrow.

Hi. I've followed your blog on and off since Tony's KC gave it some run a few months ago.

The despair expressed in your post today prompted me to comment. You don't know me, and have no real reason to credit my opinion, but I want you to know that I'm rooting for you. I'm sure I'm not alone among your readers. I think it's a credit to your fine writing skills that you've managed to "hook me" as a reader, and these skills will surely translate to an occupation for you soon -- whether or not it involves ad copy.

Keep your chin up. You're good at what you do.

I also have been reading your blog and I'm shocked that so many people feel sorry for you. It shows what a secular world we live in. You've blogged about your relationship with God, yet you use the language you do. Being a Christian, I don't quite understand this.I am not one to judge, but God does say a person will be known by the fruits they produce. Maybe if your focus is living your life for God instead of for yourself, your situation will change. I will pray for God to work in your life.

Well, I don't agree with Anon: Christians aren't perfect. Followers of God sometimes get down-in-the-dumps and *gasp* think a naughty word now and then. Job wished he had never been born.

God on the mountain is still God in the valley, as the song says. You are being molded into something better through all this.

Never stop being honest; you shouldn't have to put on a false face here. It's YOUR blog.

"I am not one to judge, but..." I think that's my favorite part of Anon's comment up there. ::sigh:: good times! (Hey Anon, you should check out my blog if you love to judge the naughty, naughty words (???) that PG is throwing around here. Guess what? I love God, AND I use the ACTUAL F-word like it's going out of style! Know why? Because I like it! To each their own, man. (Not that you'd ever judge me for talking a certain way...naaahhh.)

Sista, I don't feel sorry for you, because I know that isn't the point of these posts. I DO keep hope in my heart for you, though. I really do. And at some point, I know that hope will come through and do it's job...it has to. ;) I know it.

Guess what, Anonymous, you can say you don't judge all you want...but at the end of the day everyone knows that you DO judge! While Pensive Girls blog is a bold expression of who she is...it isn't everything that she is! I know her! And I think she's pretty f'ing awesome!!! J, I'll see you in church on Sunday!!
