Yeah, I saw the little ad for that this morning, and I thought to myself, "Wait...aren't we supposed to stay away from the phone during thunderstorms?" And then I thought about what kind of shit would come out of me if I heard a siren going off in the neighborhood, and THEN I heard the phone ringing. I'd be a mess.
I'm gonna stick with the process I've told myself I'll follow in case things ever get *that* bad during a storm. Watch the t.v. from my hallway, make sure I know what's happening where, and if the cable suddenly goes out, run next door to the neighbor's house where they have a half basement I can crawl into with them.
Storms suck.
No...wait. SEVERE storms suck. Normal, run-o'-the-mill, pretty lightening thunder storms are fine. :)
i'm a copywriter. it's one word, not two. and it means i write ads.
i like words, ideas, bacon, butter and running. i also like god and my family and my dog.
sometimes i'm happy, sometimes i'm sad. but always, i'm brave. i used to think i wasn't. i was wrong.
