This is encouraging. I'm currently sidelined with an injury. I have quad pains that have lasted for almost two weeks. It's so bad it gives me a slite limp when I walk. I'm beginning to fear that it's a femur stress fracture, because it just won't go away. It sucks because this is perfect running weather, and I have a lot of stress lately that I need to burn. Fortunately I can still bike and take long walks. Still, nothing compares to running.

sorry to hear about your injury. really sorry. i know you know this, but you should get to a doctor for an x-ray or bone scan soon, because if it is a stress fracture, it likely gets worse every day you go without "treating" it. i learned the hard way.

    good luck! keep us updated.

Hey Jessi, Congrats to be back running. Not being able to run is torture. I have been injured since I started running years ago so I know the ropes. Something you might consider that has helped me is following the "Furman First" running program where you have quality runs every other day. It was featured in Runners World last year. Because I have to do some cardio every day for mental health, I swim and road bike on the days off. Just a thought.
